SCIPP’s 2025-2026 Annual Report is now available!
This report details some of SCIPP’s research, partnerships, and state and local engagement efforts from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. Highlights include SCIPP’s continued collaboration with the City of Shreveport, Louisiana, new partnerships with property sector professionals following the 2025 Hazard Resilient Buildings workshop, collaboration with the National Hazard Mitigation Association to produce resources from hazard mitigation research, and narrative impact stories detailing how SCIPP’s work has improved resiliency across the region.
The report also touches on SCIPP’s engagement over the past year, including involvement in the 2026 South Central Climate Resilience Forum (SCCRF), sharing of the Simple Planning Tool for Climate Hazards with the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management and the Arkansas Economic Development Institute, and extreme heat work for the City of Oklahoma City that contributed to an official mayoral proclamation for Heat Safety Awareness Week from June 1-7, 2026.
