Event Details
The Southern Climate Impacts Planning Program is hosting this webinar to demonstrate recent updates to the Simple Planning Tool for Climate Hazards (SPT). We will provide an overview of the SPT, share changes you’ll find in recent updates, and demonstrate a few tool examples. Audience members will have time for Q&A at the end of the webinar.
The SPT is a compilation of relatively easy-to-use online interactive tools, maps, and graphs to assist planners, emergency managers, and other decision makers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas who are assessing their long-term climate risks, both historically and in the future. The SPT points users to reputable free data tools and resources that can be used during planning processes and in plans. The SPT may be relevant to those who work outside of this region, as many tools and resources include national-level data and information.
If you would like to view the tool prior to the webinar, you can access it here.
