Chris Hale

Chris Hale is the Associate Director and Extension Lead for the Texas Sea Grant College Program at Texas A&M University. In this role, she leads the extension team in advancing the understanding, stewardship, and wise use of coastal and ocean resources. Grounded in the Socio-Ecological Systems (SES) framework, Chris brings a rich background in ridge-to-reef conservation, social science, and community engagement. Her work is solution-oriented, employing co-production and evaluation techniques to build collaborative processes that drive meaningful conservation, restoration, and resilience outcomes.
